Between 2009 and 2014 Diego studied Marine Engineering whilst simultaneously working on commercial vessels as a Junior Engineer. Personally, Diego finds great interest in various cultures and loves exploring new places and the cuisines that comes with them. It’s in these activities that he was drawn to Yachting, where he has been able to marry his career as an engineer with his passions for travel altogether. When Diego is not hard at work, he enjoys reading, swimming, cycling, treasure hunting and socializing with others.
Keith O'Dell — Chef (American)
Chef Keith O’Dell hails from the Catskill Mountain region of New York State. Training early in his career in Manhattan, Keith was drawn by the competitive and creative nature of being a chef. After graduating culinary school in New York, Keith decided to take his knowledge and pursue another interest, travel. He soon found that combining the two would prove to be a way to fulfill his dream of seeing the world and learning different cooking cultures first-hand. Before long Keith was Chef in California, assisting in menu orchestration for renowned Californian vineyards such as Cakebread Cellars, the Hess Collection, Flora Springs, Robert Mondavi and Chalone. Keith went on to live and work in Sweden and Denmark working at Noma, which rated #1 in the World on San Pellegrino’s “World’s Best 50 Restaurants” four years in a row. Keith now works in the yachting industry still fulfilling his passion for cooking and travelling. He possesses a deep knowledge of food and understands the importance of a balance between the dish being served and the dining experience.
Olivia Swick — Deckhand (British)
Olivia is from the United Kingdom where she grew up in Bristol but is now living in the beautiful city of Bath. From a young age, Olivia was an ice figure skater as well as a competitive horse rider. She was incredibly passionate about perfecting her own horse’s performance to achieve great results in the show ring. Olivia’s love for boating grew from the many summers spent on her family’s boat on the south coast of England and in the Channel Islands. Olivia has multiple family members in the yachting industry who have all encouraged her to pursue this career. Although Olivia is still new to yachting, she is excited to travel to new places, meet new people, and gain firsthand experience working on board Reverie. In her spare time, Olivia loves going to the gym, spending time with family and taking her Jack Russel, Snoopy, on long walks in the countryside.
Karlie Livingstone — Stewardess (Australian)
Karlie was born and raised in Sydney, Australia, in the vibrant coastal suburb of Cronulla. After high school, she completed a Bachelor of Commerce and an Advanced Diploma in Event Management degree, where she quickly discovered her passion for service and the creative side of the event industry. Growing up surrounded by Australia’s golden beaches, transitioning to yachting and a life at sea felt like a natural fit as she set her sights on carving out her own path in the industry. In her downtime, Karlie leads an active lifestyle, whether it’s hitting the reformer Pilates studio or enjoying a weekend netball game, before unwinding at the beach with a good book in hand. She loves meeting new people and is passionate about creating unforgettable experiences for guests on board Reverie!.
Lily Dickinson — Stewardess (New Zealand)
Originally from Aukland, New Zealand, Lily spent her summers in the Bay of Islands, where her love for the ocean and being on the water naturally grew. Being from New Zealand, Lily always aspired to travel beyond her New Zealand bubble. After completing a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Management and spending a month abroad in Thailand, she was inspired to pursue a career in yachting, combining her passion for travel, people and the ocean. Coming from a family with a strong sailing background – her grandfather a successful sailor, and her parents regularly taking her sailing around New Zealand, yachting felt like a natural progression. Her genuine enthusiasm for connecting with others led her into the hospitality industry, where she gained experience in event catering before transitioning into yachting. In her spare time, Lily enjoys staying active; whether that’s the gym, playing team sports or walking her dog Margo along the beach.
