Epic 8-Day St Martin, Anguilla & St Barts Yacht Charter Itinerary

Day 1: Phillipsburg, Dutch St Maateen – Maho Beach

You will ease into your St Barts Yacht Charter with a short jump up the coast to Maho Beach. Maho Beach is unlike any other in the Caribbean. Sure, the soft sands and crystal-clear waters are quintessential Caribbean, but the main attraction here isn’t the sea—it’s the planes!

At Maho, you’re directly under the flight path of jets landing at Princess Juliana International Airport. It’s a rush like no other, with massive airliners like KLM’s 747s passing just 100 feet above your head.

The intense jet blasts are known to send beachgoers into the sea (safely if you’re careful). Timing your visit with the arrival schedule posted at the nearby Sunset Bar enhances the experience​.

Day 2: Road Bay, Anguilla

You will head towards Road Bay, located on the north side of Anguilla Island. You will go eastway around Anguilla Island, with a possible lunch stop at Scrub Island for some divine diving or snorkeling.

Day 3: Ile Tintamarre

Day 4: Gustavia Harbor, St Barts

From the moment you anchor in Gustavia’s harbor, you’re surrounded by mega-yachts, high-end boutiques like Louis Vuitton and Cartier, and world-class restaurants.

This is the perfect day to plan a meal ashore and perhaps a little taste of the Caribbean nightlife. For a 5-star meal, make a reservation at Bonito. This fusion of French and South American cuisine offers a lively atmosphere, delicious cocktails, and dishes like ceviche and roasted sea bass.

Alternatively, you can dine at L’Isola, an upscale Italian restaurant –This is perfect for romantic dinners. Its menu features gourmet dishes like homemade pasta, fresh seafood, and an extensive wine list.

If you are looking to explore the local nightlife, try Bagatelle, located in the heart of Gustavia. Bagatelle is Known for its lively party scene, great music, and flowing champagne; it’s a hotspot for both locals and visitors.

If you are looking for a more laid-back option, check out the legendary Le Select, known as the inspiration for Jimmy Buffett’s “Cheeseburger in Paradise,” –it’s an iconic venue!

Not to be missed is Shell Beach, located on the edge of Gustavia town, only a 5-minute walk from the port. Shell Beach is unique for its shoreline covered in millions of tiny seashells. Day 5: Colombier Beach, St Barts

After a night in Gustavia, there is a chance you might need a little respite, so you will now head to Colombier Beach, which is only a short hop up the coast.

Often referred to as Rockefeller’s Beach, Colombier is secluded and accessible mainly by boat, which makes it a favorite for yacht-goers. The beach was part of David Rockefeller’s private estate, adding an air of exclusivity.

The hike to Anse de Colombier rewards you with great panoramic views of St. Barts Island, but it’s the calm bay that really steals the show. This is the place for snorkeling, where you can swim among schools of fish and spot sea turtles. With no amenities or crowds, it’s a true escape​.

Day 6: Anse Marcel, French St Martin

You are now headed back up to St Martin, this time to the French north side.

After 2 days of relaxing beachside time, it is time for a more active day –You will now be heading back down to St Barts for some Bay hopping.

St Bart has over 20 beaches to explore, and there is no better way to do this than with your own private luxury yacht. Start with Saline Beach, one of the more remote and wild beaches, where the lack of development enhances its untouched beauty.

Then, cruise over to Gouverneur Beach, where you might spot a celebrity or two. If you’re into snorkeling, Corossol Beach offers fantastic underwater scenery, with reefs teeming with life.

In St. Jean Bay, the famous Eden Rock Hotel has a fantastic bar scene where yachties often mingle​.
