Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a motor yacht like Carpe Diem, the expected APA is 25% to 40% of the charter price ($14,000 - $22,400), making the charter cost $70,000 to $78,400. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

I am a USCG Licensed Captain/Engineer that lives locally in Fort Lauderdale . I’ve worked my
way up from Deckhand to Mate/Engineer, Bosun, First Officer , and now to Captain/Engineer.
My experience as Captain has been with busy private/charter programs . Most of my experience
as Master has been in the Bahamas, Keys, and South Florida . Prior to that I’ve completed
numerous New England and Caribbean seasons . I’ve also finished new builds, managed
multiple yard periods , and handle all accounting . Currently, I am looking for a yacht in the
80’-100’ range that stays local to South Florida , doing trips/charters in the Bahamas and South
Florida.
